Thanks Giving 2007

This year we moved away from our normal tradition of only pumpkin and apple pie. Even though Thanksgiving only comes once a year, it can get a little boring if everything is the same each time. This year we wanted something new, different, fun.

^
This is one of the lightest desserts I have ever had (which is nice after a heavy Thanksgiving meal) A shaped meringue filled with whipped cream and topped with a sweet and tart cranberry sauce.
The cranberry desserts come from Martha Stewart's Living magazine.

^
What's Thanksgiving without pumpkin pie? I needed at least one dessert that I could use this awesome GF crust recipe I found!

^
A sweet lemon ricotta blended till smooth and layered with another amazing cranberry sauce! When it is served in wine glasses it shows off the cool layers of ricotta and cranberries.

Every year my sister makes her out-of-this-world pumpkin roll! It's made of a pumpkin sheet cake slathered with cream cheese icing and rolled into a log! YUMM!!
