Let's Welcome Betty Crocker to The Gluten Free World!

I'm flabergasted.  (Is that a word, or did I make that up?)  Coming from a family with Celiac and other food allergies I know that finding something easy, and something that tastes good, is not exactly... well easy.  But things just got better!  I'm thrilled to tell everyone that Betty Crocker is now making Gluten Free Mixes!
.
They now offer:
      -Devil's Food Cake
      -Yellow Cake (not photographed)
      -Chocolate Chip Cookies
      -Chocolate Brownies
.
Well I am a little picky when it comes to Gluten Free Brownies, and I have found that they tend to be a little gritty.  But Betty Crockers Brownies are one of the few brands that are dramatically less textural and gritty than other brands.
One of the best things about this is, they can be found in any supermarket that sells Betty Crocker cake mixes.  You no longer have to hunt down health food or specialty stores.  The mixes are made in a Gluten Free processing facility, so you don't have to worry about cross contamination!
For more information click on Betty Crocker Gluten Free - Home, they have information about the products, comments, news letters and more.
This makes last minute desserts, family gatherings and parties just that much easier for everyone with Celiac Disease!

I'm Back!

Hey everyone, I visited my blog a few days ago, the first time in a long time (as you guys know, from my lack of posts), and I was inspired to change my blog around. I don't want it to look like a "fixer-upper" when I bring in new content and recipes. So I am giving my blog a much needed face-lift and hopefully bringing a new design and content to it. I have SO much to catch up on since I was away! I'm happy to be back and hopefully its to stay this time! I should thank the few stragglers that have been visiting my somewhat vacant blog over the past few months, for their persistence! I can't wait to hear from you guys, and to add Gluten Free stuff and new recipes to nurture your Gluten Free cravings! I'll be writing soon. Your Fellow Blogger, -Dylan

Burtons Grill

I have been so excited to blog about my family's trip to Boston, Massachusetts! This is the second time I have really ever been to Boston and I am so happy that I got to go with my whole family. We were there for two days and one night, but that was enough time to check out Burtons Bar and Grill. Since I have not been to the city many times, walking to a restaurant or even taking to the "T" was pretty new to me. So when we decided to walk to Burtons, I was excited to be able to walk to somewhere in general, unlike at home where nothing is in walking distance. (I'm still very into not driving if possible, save gas and pollution). Ohho and did I mention that they have a gluten free menu?... must have slipped my mind!

I did not photograph all the gluten free dishes but the burger above is gluten free with a new bun that they just got in that day and my brother was the first one to try them! It was an amazing feeling being out in a new city, eating at a restaurant I had never been to before, knowing that my brother could get a meal that we would not have to worry about contamination with gluten, and enjoy ourselves!
