Let's Welcome Betty Crocker to The Gluten Free World!

I'm flabergasted.  (Is that a word, or did I make that up?)  Coming from a family with Celiac and other food allergies I know that finding something easy, and something that tastes good, is not exactly... well easy.  But things just got better!  I'm thrilled to tell everyone that Betty Crocker is now making Gluten Free Mixes!
.
They now offer:
      -Devil's Food Cake
      -Yellow Cake (not photographed)
      -Chocolate Chip Cookies
      -Chocolate Brownies
.
Well I am a little picky when it comes to Gluten Free Brownies, and I have found that they tend to be a little gritty.  But Betty Crockers Brownies are one of the few brands that are dramatically less textural and gritty than other brands.
One of the best things about this is, they can be found in any supermarket that sells Betty Crocker cake mixes.  You no longer have to hunt down health food or specialty stores.  The mixes are made in a Gluten Free processing facility, so you don't have to worry about cross contamination!
For more information click on Betty Crocker Gluten Free - Home, they have information about the products, comments, news letters and more.
This makes last minute desserts, family gatherings and parties just that much easier for everyone with Celiac Disease!

The cookies aren't as good as the brownies and cake mix, but the devil's food cake mix is to die for. I fooled all my family with the cake...they had no idea it was Gluten free.

Hey there,
I'd heard about Betty Crocker's gluten free mixes but haven't made it to Hannaford's,etc, to see if they're there. I was diagnosed w/celiac in right before Christmas 2009 & thot my world was ruined but finding support in your blog & elsewhere really helps. I found out about your blog thru Rafferty's Pub's gluten free page that I got thru a friend, clicked on their link, got to Elizabeth Atkinson's page, and voila! I have a blog too but it's about my pet sitting biz but will include tidbits of info about my lunch breaks which will help me discuss gluten free stuff. Check out my blog @ http://theteacherspets.blogspot.com
